Chrissy Powell

Chrissy (they/her) is a disabled multimedia artist living in Smyrna, GA. They tap into all of their skills – sewing, wig styling, vector illustration, character design, hard surface modeling, 3D printing and pattern design – to tell whimsical stories through costume design and animation. Chrissy leans into all things cute and magical, strongly believing that the softness and sweetness that already exists within the black community deserves to be highlighted. She hopes that through sharing her 3D print files, creating tutorials and building community that more marginalized people like herself will discover a path to creating art of their own.
