Afrofuturism has always been about more than aesthetics—it’s about engineering new possibilities. From Sun Ra’s cosmic jazz to the whimsical futurism of Missy Elliott’s visuals, Black artists have used sound and image to shape the future. The Inventor follows in that tradition, designing the hardware that makes the next evolution of music possible.
