Black boys in games, we see you! The Game Designer–sporting barrel locs–reminds us of all the awesome Black men making games, independently and in the industry. We’re talking about folks like Neil Jones AKA Aerial Knight, known for his Never Yield series, or Shawn Pierre–the debonair, gorgeously loc’d chair of the Independent Games Festival, and Evan Narcisse, journalist and game designer who wrote this powerful essay that inspired a young(ish) game designer to eventually respond in the form of this here Open Source Afro Hair Library, ya dig?
